TIP launches its Global Food Bank Support initiative
Amsterdam, 18 October 2021 – TIP Trailer Services’ CEO, Bob Fast, officially launched TIP’s first ever global food bank support initiative; a campaign to encourage TIP employees, customers and stakeholders to give back to their local communities. Taking place across all European and Canadian locations from November to December 2021, this cause reflects the core of TIP values, and will support national food bank organizations in both continents.
COVID-19 has changed lives across the world, and never has community mattered more. People are struggling with food insecurity, and the TIP Global Food Bank Support initiative aims to help shape a better future. In recognition of World Food Day and International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, TIP is renewing its commitment to helping communities in need.
TIP locations will be collecting non-perishable donations for redistribution to their local food banks in December, before the holiday season.
In collaboration with national organizations, FEBA and Food Banks Canada – TIP has also set up online donation pages in Europe and Canada. These organizations have provided a space to further give and reach communities in need directly.
