Mam Tor - October Hike

What an adventurous way to start October!

On the 1st of October, some TIP thrill seekers and their family and friends set off at 10 am on a hike to tackle Mam Tor, also known as the ‘Mother Hill’, a famous 517-meter-high hill located in the Peak District.

By being surrounded by breathtaking scenery, enjoyable company and three mischievous dogs, the time didn’t stand still! The worthwhile adventure ended at 3:30 pm with a trip to a nearby pub to warm up, rest and share positive impressions of the day over a much-needed dinner.

For those interested, the astonishing views and highlights of the day can be witnessed here.

Thank you to all those who have participated; we hope to see some new faces next year on a new adventure, this time in the Lake District.

Bring it on!
