TIP Mechanic Team Competition 23-24 winners for UK & Ireland are…
…once again, team ‘Notorious T.T.P.’ from TIP Felixstowe. The lads retained their title from last year to win again and bag £500 each, plus a nice trip to Valencia, Spain next Spring for TIP’s Mechanic Team Competition global final. Congratulations boys!
It’s the third TIP Mechanic Team Competition and it is getting bigger each year. The UK and Ireland final was held at TIP Nuneaton with teams from across TIP’s UK and Ireland network of trailer mechanics.
The TIP MTC celebrates our mechanics’ talent and expertise and is just one of our initiatives that illustrates just how highly TIP values its mechanics. The competition highlights the talent and skills of our mechanics with a series of theoretical and practical challenges, but it also allows them to observe best practices, learn from other experts and make some new friends.
Second prize went to team ‘The Scrutineers’ and third prize to team ‘Salad Dodgers’, both of whom received a nice cash prize.
There weren’t really any losers and, once again, all who took part had a great time, with a nice meal to round off a fantastic day.
The UK lads will compete in the global final in April against the winners from the other TIP regions in Europe and Canada.
