According to TIP calculations, the refurbishment initiative adopted by the kitchen manufacturer sees approximately 3.9 tonnes of CO2 emissions per trailer saved by avoiding the emissions generated from the manufacturing process had the trailers been purchased from new. This translates to a saving of 1,548.3tCO2e in emissions in total for the refurbished fleet.

TIP is also providing 9 new Volvo LNG trucks to Howdens as it expands its truck fleet to further reduce its carbon footprint.
