TIP invests in development of its mechanics with JOST training programme

TIP will provide training on JOST equipment for more than 150 of its mechanics across the UK and Ireland within the next six months. The new training programme, designed by leading global supplier to commercial vehicles JOST, will be delivered to TIP locations in the UK and Ireland over the coming weeks.

The training will cover the latest advancements in trailer equipment technologies, maintenance best practices and safety protocols and ensure that TIP’s mechanics are well-equipped to install, maintain and repair JOST trailer equipment such as axle systems, fifth wheel couplings, king pins and landing gear.

Each participant will receive certification from JOST.

TIP locations will also become a JOST ‘Approved Service Agent’, providing authorisation to carry out repair, maintenance and warranty work for JOST equipment.
