IWD2020: How TIP help forge a gender equal world

gender equal world

International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on the 8th of March worldwide. It is one of the 87 international days recognized by the United Nations, to acknowledge women’s achievements made all around the world, regardless of whether they are national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political.

TIP stands for diversity and proudly encourages equality throughout the industry. We believe that everyone, no matter of the gender, religion, race, sexual orientation, is equal and diversity is a key differentiator for our business.

#EachforEqual

This year’s Women’s Day campaign #EachForEqual is about a collective individualism. It draws attention to the difference individuals can make, because our individual actions, behaviour, mindset can make a huge impact on our society.

TIP takes part of this issue by striking the #EachforEqual pose with our employees, from interns to directors.

Empower your full potential

TIP organized the TIP International Women’s Day at the head office in Amsterdam, and streamed to all regions.  A special guest, Eva Visser Plaza, was invited to present an interactive session “Empower your full potential”.

The goal of this event was to enable each employee to thrive throughout their life and their careers. The content of the session was about the personal growth and how to find the way to go through it to create a completely fulfilled life and career with purpose.

As integrity and respect are one of our values, TIP makes a point of honour to encourage its employees to express themselves and feel fully fulfil at work every day, not only on International Women’s Day.

TIP helps forge a gender equal world by taking part of the collective efforts every day to make a positive difference for everyone. An equal world is an enabled world. Because human rights have no gender, let's all be #EachforEqual!
