CAPITAL Trainers Study 2020: TIP Trailer Services is one of Germany's best trainers
The lack of specialists is a big issue across Europe and an all over industry topic. The number of apprenticeships in Germany is declining - especially in technical jobs the number of applicants is decreasing. TIP Trailer Services is also faced with this trend and has increasing difficulties in finding new employees for our workshops. TIP is therefore developing new ways of attracting people.
In TIP Central Region we are particularly committed to the training program in our workshops. With the apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) with focus on commercial vehicle technology or body construction, we want to inspire school graduates for this kind of job, TIP as an employer and the commercial vehicle industry and thus secure the next generation of employees on a long term base. The dedicated personnel department and the strong workshop management work hand in hand here and develop concepts to support the trainees, e.g. with free tickets and teaching materials. The exchange between the trainees among themselves and with other departments is actively promoted. New media are also used, small competitions are organized, and special trainee events and further training courses are offered. This commitment is not only well received by the young people and their masters and trainers but has now also been honored with an external award.
TIP Trailer Services is one of the best trainers in Germany.
For the fourth time, the business magazine CAPITAL, together with the talent platform Ausbildung.de and the personnel marketing experts from TERRITORY EMBRACE, has set out to find Germany's best trainers.
With a score of 4 out of 5 possible stars in the training category, TIP Trailer Services is one of the companies honored.
"We are very happy about this award and feel confirmed in our work. In the coming years we will continue to work on our trainee programme and develop new ideas to make the apprenticeship of mechatronic engineers (m/f/d) with a focus on commercial vehicles in our company even more attractive. Our trainees are our future," says Claudia Mondhe, Human Resources Director Central Region at TIP Trailer Services.
The survey, in which a detailed catalogue of more than 90 questions had to be answered, ran from the end of March to mid-June - when the entire German economy was in corona mode. Nevertheless, more than 660 companies took part in the CAPITAL study, eleven percent more than in the previous year. The companies employ around four million employees and 138,000 trainees. Among them are Dax corporations, large public authorities, many small and medium-sized companies and craft enterprises.
The study provides a Germany-wide overview of the "Best Trainers in Germany" by region and occupational group.
